In the medical profession, licence to practice is given only to mature, able and ethical individuals but few esoteric practitioners or spiritual healers have a certificate. How do you know they are capable and ethical? Skilled, etical metaphysical practitioners and teachers do exist, but for every one of them there seems to be many unskilled and unethical others who have learned very little and immediately begun to practice and teach that little to others. How do we tell a wise teacher from a phoney or fraudulent one is not always easy when the glamour or charisma of the spiritual publicity machine surrounding them is shinning in your eyes. Ask around and examine the fruits of their work rather than be dazzled by their website or operation. Good practitioners and teachers will attract without the need for glitzy glamourous advertising.
